Section of North 16th Street Will Be Two-Way
Beginning early afternoon Tuesday, August 17, a one-block section of North 16th Street will shift from one-way south to two-way traffic. The section is from the new 'Y' Street Connector on the north side of Nebraska Hall south to 'W' Street. The change will make it easier for those headed east on 'W' to go north to reach Holdrege Street.
Traffic patterns on North 16 and North 17th have been changing over the past few months due to construction of the Antelope Valley Project, which includes transportation improvements, stormwater management and community revitalization.
