14^th Street to Close North of Court Street

Beginning Monday, ongoing construction of the Antelope Valley Project will require the closure of 14^th Street north of Court Street. Motorists traveling north on 14^th Street will be detoured west on Bessie Street to Military Avenue. When motorists reach Military Avenue, they may turn east to access 14^th Street. This closure will be in effect until late-August, at which time 14^th Street north of Court Street will re-open to traffic.

Updated Information

Due to the consistent threat of inclement weather for the remainder of the week, the closure of the north leg of the 14^th and Holdrege Street intersection and the corresponding utility work and paving will not take place until Monday, May 16. This closure is scheduled to re-open June 17. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes to reach the University of Nebraska campus.
