
Upper Southeast Salt Creek Sub-Basin Sewers – Phase I
Phase 1 commences with a connection to the Upper SE Salt Creek Trunk Sewer and extends east and northeast along the existing drainage channels to a location east of 27th Street and north of Rokeby Road and has been completed.
The project included 5244 LF of 24 to 30 inch diameter sewer pipe. Testing of the sewer line was done by Lincoln Wastewater System, Dobson Brothers Construction and HDR Engineering Inc. and was completed in August of 2006.
Bids were received on November 9, 2005, from 10 contractors. Dobson Brothers Construction was the successful low bidder for the project with a bid of $693,247.43. Dobson completed installation and testing of the sanitary sewer in August 2006 and has restored the project area. Dobson's total construction cost was $674,922.29.
