Water Projects Under Construction
- • 17th from 'O' to 'R'
12th from 'Q' to 'R' and 'R' from 12th to 19th - These water main replacement projects are scheduled to be complete by August 1, 2008.
- • 36th from Vine to 'X'
- This project includes replacing a water main in 36th Street from Vine to 'X', and paving 36th from Vine to 'W'.
- • Cheney Pressure District Water Tower
- The water tower will provide consistent pressure throughout the Cheney Pressure District, provide the ability to expand the serviceable area of the district and adds storage to meet peak fire demands.
- • Greenwood to Lincoln Water Transmission Line
- The transmission main will increase water capacity between Greenwood and Lincoln to match the ultimate capacity of the well fields in Ashland. It will also provide a redundant supply line separated from the existing transmission mains for security and emergency purposes.
- • Holdrege from 70th to 84th
- This project includes the construction of a 54-inch diameter water transmission main.
- • 'Y' from 22nd to 27th
- The scope of the work involves replacing an existing water main and connecting services to a new water main in 'Y' Street from 22nd to 27th Street.
