Persons will once again have the opportunity to view Lincoln's holiday light displays as StarTran presents the 15th annual Holiday Light Tours.
Due to the tremendous response of past years, the 2007 Holiday Light Tours will be held this year on the evenings of: Thursday, December 13th, Friday, December 14th, and Saturday, December 15th.
The buses will begin loading at 7:00 p.m. with the 1½-hour tour beginning at 7:30 p.m. Narration highlighting the historical aspects of the tour will be provided by Ed Zimmer, City/County Historic Preservation Planner. Buses are wheelchair accessible.
Persons wishing to take the tour must purchase advance tickets beginning Tuesday, November 13th. Tickets will be on sale at StarTran, 710 'J' Street, 2nd Floor between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Seating is limited, so you are encouraged to purchase your tickets early. Telephone reservations will not be accepted. Tickets purchased are non-refundable (unless StarTran cancels the tour due to inclement weather – listen to radio stations 96KX or KFOR for cancellation information). Tickets are $4.00 each or purchase the whole bus. Call StarTran at 476-1234 for more information.
