Ben, Grayson and Masen will have their artwork displayed at Lincoln Water System for the duration of one year. A poster board is given to each child to bring to their school to be displayed.
This annual contest is sponsored by the Mayor's Water Conservation Task Force. Work on this project begins in September and continues through April. A Lincoln Public Schools volunteer leads the poster contest. Letters go to all fifth-grade students in Lincoln, including LPS, parochial and home schools. The teachers have many different projects to choose from. The Mayor's Water Conservation Task Force appreciates the participation each year!
Bookmarks of the top ten contest winners are located at the public libraries, LPS elementary libraries and the Catholic elementary school.
