Cindy F. Hochstetler is a Christian mom and grandmother who enjoys the beauty of design and nature. This transplanted Texan has been happily married for 30 years. The appreciation of quilt design and construction was passed down to Cindy by both of her grandmothers. Cindy's other hobbies include decorating, sewing, painting and doing crafts with her TeamMate at Eastridge Elementary School. She also volunteers for the Foster CARE Closet and Matt Talbot's Kitchen and Outreach. As a former school board member and current member of the NRA, the artist describes herself as eclectic.
Cindy based her rain barrel design on a quilt she made for her daughter. This time she chose some eye-popping colors and made each square unique. Cindy believes it represents the dynamic personalities in our lives. The golden threads symbolize how we are stitched together and held there by our heartstrings.
