Jesy Hansen is an Environmental Studies student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Between working, studying or participating in Collegiate Farm Bureau, Sustain UNL or Earth Day planning she enjoys visiting the local museums with her incredible two year old son, Axyl. She grew up on a farm just north of Lincoln and has enjoyed the past several years in southwestern states and big cities, but is glad to be home.
This rain barrel features a rustic, antiqued design in earthy colors to compliment landscapes with a subtle, yet nostalgic statement. Inspired by summer visits to the family's ranch in the sand hills and with respect to the environment, every drop of water is of extreme value; similar to traditional rain collection used to wash laundry, bathe and water the garden.
