Mick Rodysill was born in Central City, Nebraska. Mick spent most of his childhood out in nature in the shelterbelt behind his parents' field with close friends.
Mick received his Bachelors degree in Art Education at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. His ceramics and paintings have been displayed around Lincoln in the past few years.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids, reading poetry, working in his garden, and painting with acrylics and watercolors. He is also a member of the Sierra Club and the Audubon Society.
The raindrops symbolize growth and renewal while the flowers represent the beauty of nature. The colors I have chosen represent the amazing selection of colors that nature has to offer. The water cycle is in constant motion and motion is something I always try to convey in all of my paintings.
