Annie Jacobson Redfern grew up on a farm near Stromsburg, Nebraska, where she graduated from Stromsburg High School in 1977. She studied fashion illustration at the Colorado Institute of Art and art and drama at University of Nebraska. After spending 4 years in NYC working in the promotion department at U.S. News and World Report, she moved to LA where she worked at MTM Studios. Annie returned to Nebraska in 1989. She keeps busy doing commissioned abstract family portraits. Annie has shown her work at the Noyes Art Gallery. She currently has paintings at the Java Cafe in York, Nebraska, where she lives with her husband, Barry, and daughter, Sam.
