Live Yes Studio is an alternative arts-based day program where day to day we seek to break down societal barriers and create a space where individuality is fostered. We celebrate the unique abilities each person brings to this open and creative environment. There are opportunities to explore all types of visual art, music, performing arts and writing. Artists are encouraged to participate in classes and create individual projects to be displayed in the community. No vision is too broad at Live Yes Studios, but we seek to attain goals one piece at a time. At Live Yes Studios, we use art as a lens to see the world, a tool to communicate and a gateway to community membership.

"Disability is not a brave struggle or 'courage in the face of adversity.' Disability is an art. It's an ingenious way to live." - Neil Marcus
We are people just like you. We're sons, daughters, brothers and sisters. We're artists. We're painters, poets, comedians, sculptors, writers and musicians. Despite this we often feel disconnected from society, like something that is strange, different and unapproachable. We have a sense of humanity just like anyone and enjoy the company of others like "normal" people do. So the next time you encounter a person with a developmental disability don't look the other way or pity us, say "Hi" and you just might make a new friend.
