- Description:
- The drainage channel banks in this location were eroding in several areas. Some of these areas have buried water, sewer and gas lines that could have become exposed and damaged if the erosion was not fixed. The existing channel had poor drainage due to a low slope which caused standing water in most of the ditch. In 2005 the channel slope was improved and re-seeded to minimize standing water, improve drainage, and reduce the chances of damage from erosion to underground utilities.
