- The project was for reducing flooding along Beal Slough in the vicinity of 40th Street and Highway 2. Through the concept study it was found that the benefit/cost ratio for the project warranted putting the project on hold and not proceeding at the present time. This was a joint project by the Lower Platte South NRD and the City.
