Best Management Practice
The goal of this project is to reduce erosion issues, improve water quality and reduce street flooding (Mesaverde Drive south of Taylor Park). This was done by stabilizing the channel banks, constructing small grade control structures, creating a water quality cell near the south end of the park and constructing an stormwater overflow route from Mesaverde Drive to the channel. This project was being led by Public Works in coordination with the Parks Dept.
