- The project is included in the approved Beal Slough watershed master plan. It is being coordinated with the Parks and Recreation department and the Lower Platte South NRD. The purpose of the project is to preserve and improve water quality from adjacent tributaries to Beal Slough. This project is being led by Public Works and is a joint project with the Lower Platte South NRD and the Parks Department.
