In December of 2005, the City and Lower Platte South Natural Resources District (NRD) began a process for getting input on updates to the City's Erosion and Sediment Control (E&SC) program to meet the state and federal regulations. An E&SC Working Group comprised of individuals representing building, development and contractor interests was formed in June of 2006 to formulate recommendations regarding the development of a "small sites" E&SC program for the City of Lincoln. Based on input and guidance from the Working Group and other interest groups, the City and NRD proposed the updates shown below to the City's ordinances and design standards.
Questions regarding the updates can be submitted to Rock Krzycki in the Public Works & Utilities Dept. at rkrzycki@lincoln.ne.gov or 441-4959, or to JB Dixon with the NRD at JBDixon@lpsnrd.org or 476-2729.
