Dear Lincolnites:
You are invited to a public information meeting on two proposed Downtown/Antelope Valley documents:
- Lincoln Downtown Design Standards (212 K pdf)
The purpose is to have minimum, objective standards that will create a cohesive feel to the urban core of Lincoln. Including, for example: active retail streets, largely masonry buildings opening onto the street, and off street parking that fits the look of downtown.
- Amendments to the B-4 Lincoln Center Business Zoning District (553 K pdf)
The purpose is to keep Lincoln center as the dominant multi-use center and key focal point of business, social, and cultural activity in the Lincoln urban area. The district should include a large variety of activities, including retail and office functions, housing, commercial services, institutions, and transportation.
