Heart of Lincoln is a Special Project that promots Lincoln's historic, central neighborhoods. Its purpose is to educate the public about the positive qualities of these neighborhoods, increase neighborhood pride, and promote neighborhood revitalization. While Heart of Lincoln is adminstered by Neighborhoods, Inc., the City's Urban Development Department originated the project and continues to support it.
