PROBLEM RESOLUTION TEAM
A Power Point presentation was presented by Captain Joy Citta of the Lincoln Police Department. The Problem Resolution team consists of Lincoln Police Department, Lincoln Lancaster County Health Department, Urban Development Department, Building and Safety Department, the City Ombudsman, Lincoln Area Agency on Aging, City Council, City Attorney's Office, Lincoln Housing Authority, and the Mayor's Office.

This team works cooperatively to solve problems in Lincoln concerning property complaints, especially properties that have multiple agency complaints and have been long term problems. A discussion followed on various topics: landlords that don't take care of their property, absentee landlords, neighborhoods that could use help with enforcement issues, the number of cases the team has solved and closed, and what kind of cases the team considers, who takes care of them and declares they are not a nuisance any longer.
