Housing Development Activities | |
| Construction of Liberty Village is underway. Located between Vine and U, 23rd and 24th Streets, it will include 16 single family affordable homes and two duplexes. Brighton Construction Company will construct the new, energy-efficient homes. All houses will be two-story with a basement and an attached garage, to better fit into the character of the surrounding neighborhood.
Public financing partners include the City of Lincoln (Tax Increment Financing (TIF), Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds, and General Fund -- all for land assembly and site preparation), Fannie Mae, Nebraska Investment Finance Authority (NIFA), and NeighborWorks®Lincoln. |
