Lancaster County
Assessor/Register of Deeds
IMS Welcome
Welcome to the new IMS (Internet Map Server)! This is a joint project between the Lancaster County Assessor/Register of Deeds Office and the City of Lincoln Information Services. If you are familiar with the old IMS you should have little difficulty in adjusting to the new look and feel as well as the enhanced functionality. If this is your first visit to the IMS we hope you enjoy the site. Before you start, there are a few items that we would like to mention.
- For increased functionality (i.e., the ability to add layers such as aerials, floodplains and zoning) click "Advanced" in the upper righthand corner of the blue toolbar. These functions may cause the map to load slowly if you are using a dial-up service.
- The black and white aerial photos cover the entire city as well as the three mile limit. The date of the aerials range from March/April 1997 and June 1999.
- The floodplain layer was provided by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) . The floodplain layer should only be used as guide and does not replace a professional survey.
- If you click a layer on/off the change will not take affect until you click the "Refresh Map" button.
- The Identify tool only functions on the parcel layer.
- If you would like to print out your map, use the IMS print tool and follow the prompts and directions.
- If you need more detailed information on the function of the buttons and tools click on the help button.
