the Lancaster County Board of Commissioners to accommodate
the public to the greatest extent possible. Therefore, this

MOTION: Tussing moved and Hudkins seconded approval of motor vehicle
tax exemptions for Lincoln-Lancaster County Child Guidance Center
and Saint Paul United Methodist Church and approval of a motor
vehicle tax exemption for First United Pentecostal Church subject
to the vehicle being titled and registered to the applicant. On
call Hudkins, Steinman, Svoboda, Tussing and Campbell voted aye.
Motion carried.
3) NOTICE OF VALUATION CHANGE:
A public hearing will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 1998 at
2:30 p.m. in the Commissioners Chambers, Room 112, on the first
floor of the County-City Building for notice of valuation change

4) APPEALS FILED IN CONNECTION WITH A PENALTY ON PERSONAL
PROPERTY FOR THE FOLLOWING:
Coffee Culture (19981645) (19981727)
Carol L Eckert (19981655)
Koor Entertainment (19981651)
Novus Auto Glass (19981653)
Norm Agena, County Assessor, recommended a ten percent
penalty be assessed on personal property for Coffee Culture and a
$25 penalty be assessed on both accounts (P046187 and P040881)
for Carol Eckert. He stated the penalty for Koor Entertainment
was being withdrawn and Novus Auto Glass has been rescheduled to
Tuesday, August 4, 1998.
MOTION: Svoboda moved and Campbell seconded to accept the Assessor's
recommendation and assess a ten percent penalty on personal property
for Coffee Culture and a $25 penalty be assessed on both accounts
for Carol Eckert. On call Svoboda, Tussing, Campbell, Hudkins and
Steinman voted aye. Motion carried.
