Certified Copy of Marriage License

The County Clerk's office has marriage licenses issued in Lancaster County on file from mid-June, 1976 to the present. To obtain a certified copy of a marriage license please contact our office. We will need the following information:

• Name of the groom and/or bride's maiden name
• Date of Marriage
• Fee of $5.00 for a certified copy

After selecting the Certified Request Form, the application will load into Acrobat Reader, which will allow you to print out the request form.

If you are interested in obtaining a copy of a marriage license issued between the years of 1909 and 1976 (mid-June), contact the Nebraska Health and Human Services located at the Gold's Building, 10th & N Street, Lincoln, Nebraska 68508.
