Do you have excellent interpersonal skills? The Lancaster County Corrections Department is seeking applicants for the position of Correctional Officer. This is a challenging career working in one of the Department's two modern adult correctional facilities in Lincoln, Nebraska. Average daily population for the Department is approximately 387 inmates. Receive excellent pay ($28,057 to $41,052/yr, plus shift differential) and substantial employee benefits. Initial and on-going training is provided.

Minimum requirements include; U.S. citizenship; minimum physical requirements; at least 19 yrs. old; possess high school/GED diploma; no felony criminal convictions. Substance abuse testing required.
