Media Information 01/30/2007 Lincoln Police and Lancaster County Sheriff’s Investigators are asking for the public’s assistance locating a vehicle that is of interest in the current investigation into human remains located on SW 112th between West Van Dorn and West Pioneers Blvd. The vehicle is a Gray 1979 Chrysler Newport four door with the last 6 digits of the Vehicle Identification Number 155658. This vehicle is known to have been towed to an impound lot in Beatrice, Nebraska in December 2000. It is believed this vehicle has changed ownership a number of times and may currently be in use as a stock car or demolition derby car. There is no evidence this vehicle has been registered since 2000.
