Village residents are in the Crete Public School District #2, The town of Crete has a population of about 5,000 and is located approximately 12 miles southwest of Denton. Two school buses serve the Denton area. Call 826-5855 for more information.
Residents living outside the Village limits should check withtheir Superintendent of Schools to determine their district.

DOLLARS FOR SCHOLARS
Five scholarships of $1,000 each are available for high schoolsgraduates and adults who are interested in full-time highereducation. Denton Dollars for Scholars was founded in November,1991. Initial funding came from the Village of Denton, a donation ofkeno money. The Dollars for Scholars committee hopes to maintain aperpetuation find through donations from interested individuals andgroups. All donations are tax-deductible.
