- Utility Deposits:
- Utility deposits are required on electrical and water meters
- Meter Deposit is $75.00 for electrical and $30.00 for water
- Deposit refunded at which time your property is sold or ownership is transferred
- Security Deposit is $200.00
- Security deposit is refunded after 2 years of timely utility payments
- Utility Billing:
- Electrical meter is read around the 25th of each month
- Monthly bills include a $7.00 trash fee and a $6.00 sewer charge
- Electrical usage and tax. Bills sent prior to the 5th of each month
- Water Billing:
- Water meters are read and usage is billed quarterly with your regular utility billing during the months of March, June, September and December
- Payments:
- Utility payments ar due by the 15th of the month
- Utility payments can be deposited in the drop slot located in the door of the Village Office
- Late Payments:
- Payments received after the 15th of the month are considered late
- Late charge of $10.00 will be added to any bill not paid by the 15th
- Disconnect:
- Utilities will be disconnected if payment is not received by the last day of the month.
- Reconnect fee is $25.00
- Bank Withdrawal:
- Utility payments may be deducted from your checking account
- This applies only to accounts at the Farmers and Merchants Bank in Panama
- Budget Billing:
- Budget Billing is available to all residents. With budget billing you know exactly what your monthly bill is. Your account will be re-evaluated each year in August. If an adjustment is needed, your new budget amount will be shown on your next statement.
- Suggestions:
- Suggestions, compliments, or complaints may be put in the drop slot in the Village Office door. All letters received must be signed.
