Due to the fact that Roca, Nebraska is a low populated community there are no immediate medical services provided. Roca is located 4 miles south of Lincoln. The City of Lincoln provides emergency medical assistance in conjunction with members of the Hickman Volunteer Fire Department respond to local emergency calls. This is when trained volunteers monitor emergency calls and respond by dropping whatever they are doing and rushing to an emergency call.
