Parks and Recreation
The Waverly Parks & Recreation provides a very wide variety of recreations in the village. Some of the many things that Waverly has to offer are 9-hole disc golf course, swimming pool, tennis courts, baseball/softball fields, and much more.
Wayne Park
Wayne Park is located on the south side of Waverly, there are several main entrances on 143rd street, The main entrance is located on 140 street right off Highway 6. Wayne Park is the main recreational area of Waverly, it consists of the swimming pool, 3 Baseball/Softball diamonds, 2 tennis courts, basketball court, disc golf course, 2 sand volleyball pits, playground equipment, 3 soccer fields, ice skating rink, several horse shoe pits, grills for cooking, and shelter for your picnicking needs.
Jaycee Park
Jaycee Park is located at 141st and Mansfield Street. Jaycee Park is another main attraction of Waverly, it
Consists of 2 Baseball/Softball fields, playground equipment, several horse shoe pits, and the new Waverly Community Center. The Community Center can be rented out for special occasions, please contact the city of Waverly for more information.
Sharp Park
Sharp Park is a little known park located on N. 139th and Woodstock Blvd. Sharp park is the smallest park in Waverly, consisting of playground equipment,
Grills for cooking, and a shelter for your picnicking needs.
