Water and Wastewater Payment Options

Customers have the option of paying their bills online, signing up for automatic bank payment, sending payment by mail, visiting the payment center located inside the Development Services Center at the County/City building, or by using the drop box located on the west side drive thru of the City/County Building.

ePay with E-billing

Step 1.Getting Started

Accounts must be in current status to sign up for paperless billing.

A MyInterLinc account is required to begin e-billing. Please create an account if you do not already have one.

You will need the Account Number and PIN from your water bill to set up your e-bill account. Once you are enrolled in e-billing, you will only need your MyInterLinc password to log in to pay your bill.

By enrolling for e-bill, you are agreeing to receive notification of your water and wastewater bill via email (no paper bill will be sent), and to pay your bill online using your credit card. VISA, Discover, MasterCard or American Express are accepted.

Step 2.Register Your Water Account(s)

Go to the Water/Wastewater Lookup and Payment page. Under Option 1, log in with your MyInterLinc username and password, and follow the steps to register your account using your Account Number and PIN.

Step 3.Pay Your Bill

Once you are enrolled in e-bill, you may pay your bill online immediately. E-billing will begin with the next billing cycle. You will be notified by email when your bill is prepared, and no paper bill will be sent.

Step 1.Getting Started

You will need the PIN from your water bill to access your account and pay your bill online using your credit card. VISA, Discover, MasterCard or American Express are accepted.

Step 2.Log in to your Water Account

Go to the Water/Wastewater Lookup and Payment page. Under Option 2, find your account by searching for your address or entering your account number. Enter your PIN to access your account.

Step 3.Pay Your Bill

To make a payment or view the current account details, click the Account Detail/Payment button. To view bills, click a date.

Automatic Payment

Lincoln Water and Wastewater Account numbers reside with the physical address. Please be aware when you move that your account number will change with the new address.

If you move:

  • If you submit your payment via your bank’s bill pay system, please make sure to update the Lincoln Water and Wastewater account number to assure proper credit.
  • If you are using Automatic Payment offered by the city, please make sure to update to your new account number to assure proper credit.

Start Service

To begin Automatic Bank Pay, complete the following steps:

  1. Fill out the Automatic Bank Pay form(PDF, 84KB) with the information requested.
  2. Attach a VOIDED check
  3. Return it to

In order to begin Automatic Bank Pay, your account must be paid in full.

Stop Service

To stop service, please fill out the Customer Authorization to Stop Automatic Bank Payment(PDF, 102KB), and return the completed form to:

Paper Bill

Pay by mail

Lincoln Water and Wastewater payments are being routed through a specific post office box for processing. Please send all payments, accompanied with your payment stub, to:

When submitting your payment by check (paper bill), please enclose your payment stub in the provided envelope.

Drop Box

Using the drop box will delay posting. Past Due Accounts that are 'Subject to Disconnect' must walk in to pay or pay online.

For your convenience, drop boxes are located at the following locations:

  • City/County Building, west side drive thru, 555 S 10th Street.
  • Lincoln Water System front entrance, 2021 N 27th Street.
