Flush Wisely

As we all adapt to social distancing, working from home and self-quarantining, the perception of hoarding and scarcity of toilet paper prompts us to remind everyone of what is and is NOT flushable.

The only thing flushable besides bodily discharge is toilet paper. Toilet paper is designed to disintegrate in water. Any other paper-type product remains intact and collects in the waste piping and will eventually cause a sewer back-up. Even if something is marked flushable, it is not. When in doubt … don’t flush it. Use the trash can.
