Boards and Commissions
The Planning Department is responsible for staffing the Lincoln/Lancaster County Planning Commission, Lincoln Board of Zoning Appeals,
Lancaster County Board of Zoning Appeals, Historic Preservation Commission, Nebraska Capitol Environs Commission, Urban Design Committee,
and the Lincoln Metropolitan Planning Organization Technical Committee and Officials Committee (see MPO page).
All boards and commissions operate under the Nebraska Open Meetings Act (Neb. Rev.Stat. 84-1407 to 84-1414).
