What is the Process?

When calls/e-mails are received, they are recorded in the "Roadway Repair Log".  This log is printed two to three times per week and distributed to the three district shops.  Grading requests are typically handled within the week of receiving the complaint, weather permitting.  Rocking of unpaved streets is done on a two year cycle.  Rocking of alleys is done upon request at a material cost paid by property owners, with the City delivering and spreading the rock.  Individuals requesting alley rock are responded to by the area supervisor with a cost estimate and to arrange for delivery.  This is normally accomplished within two to three days of receiving the request.
