The public is invited to an open house Tuesday, September 11 on the intersection improvement project at South 56th Street and Yankee Hill Road. The meeting is from 4 to 6 p.m. at St. Michael's School, 9101 S. 78th Street. No formal presentations are planned.
The project is designed to increase safety at the intersection by constructing a roundabout and upgrading streetlights. Participants are invited to review the plans and provide input to help inform the final design. Representatives from the City, design engineering firm Olsson Associates, and environmental engineering firm Alfred Benesch & Company will be available to answer questions.
