"K" Street, from South 14th to 18th streets, will be reduced to two eastbound lanes from 8 a.m. Wednesday, March 27 through Friday, May 3. On-street parking and through lanes will be restricted on the south side of "K" Street throughout the project.
The closure is due to work on the State Capitol geothermal wellfield at 17th and "K" streets. The work has been scheduled at this time so it can be completed before the KFRX Mayor's Run on Saturday, May 4. Drivers are reminded to exercise caution around construction crews.
