Pioneers Park Bridle Path Action Plan

DRAFT 1-10-2018

In response to questions and concerns from horseback riders about the bridle paths in Pioneers Park, Lincoln Parks and Recreation has developed an action plan. Elements of the action plan include maintenance standards and practices, signage, webpage information, extension of the bridle path system, and opportunities for volunteer involvement. The action plan was developed after a community meeting in July 2017 and a subsequent community survey. Interested residents are encouraged to review a copy of the draft action plan, and return comments in writing to Lincoln Parks and Recreation, 3131 O Street, Suite 300, Lincoln, NE 68510, or by email to parks@lincoln.ne.gov by Friday, February 9th, 2018.

The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board will consider recommending adoption of the final version of the Pioneers Park Bridle Paths Action Plan during the regular monthly meeting on Thursday, March 8 at 4 pm at the Parks and Recreation Administration Office.
