Water Shortage Rates

Water shortage rates will be in effect only during periods when Water Management Plan restrictions are implemented, beginning with Phase 1 – Voluntary Restrictions, and increasing if stricter Plan phases are enacted. Water shortage rates were developed on the basis that customers choosing to practice water conservation techniques, primarily targeted at outdoor water use reduction, may see little or no increase on their summer water bills.

For more information about signals for enacting restrictions and details about the water restriction phases, see the Water Management Plan.
