Drainage Criteria Manual Revisions
The City of Lincoln, in coordination with the Lower Platte South Natural Resources District, is working on revising the Drainage Criteria Manual to make updates, clarifications and readability improvements. It is planned to be produced as a digital document with a common and consistent format. The Drainage Criteria Manual provides guidelines and criteria primarily for Stormwater standards, detention/retention facilities, open channels, closed drainage systems, Stormwater best management practices, erosion and sediment control and flood design criteria.
The revision process will include a facilitated chapter-by-chapter discussion of the proposed updates to the Drainage Criteria Manual with engineering consulting firms and others that may be interested. Review meetings are scheduled for the first Tuesday of every month for one year starting in October 2017, with the exception of January and July 2018, which will be held on the second Tuesday of the month.
