Beginning at 6 a.m. Thursday, August 20, the southbound lanes of 27th Street from Capital Parkway to "A" Street will be closed for resurfacing. The detour route will be Capital Parkway to "A" Street to 27th Street.
The northbound lanes of 27th Street will be resurfaced upon completion of the southbound lanes. Once the lane work is completed in both directions, the intersection of 27th Street and Capital Parkway will be resurfaced during a night time closure. The entire project is expected to take two weeks, and closure dates will be announced. as the project progresses.
