Mayor Chris Beutler invites the public to tour the City's new Development Services Center (DSC) at an open house from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 18 on the second floor of the County-City Building, 555 S. 10th St.
"The DSC fulfills our pledge to create a comprehensive and efficient customer-friendly approach to development in the City and County," said Mayor Beutler. "In today's competitive investment and development environment, Lincoln now can offer review, permit and inspection services that rival those offered by any city in the country."
The DSC is a centralized location to efficiently meet all the development services needs for builders, developers and property owners. It consists of a dedicated, centrally-located, collaborative team of staff members from the City Building and Safety, Urban Development and Public Works and Utilities departments as well as the City-County Health and Planning departments.
Free parking for the open house will be available in the lot north of the County-City Building.
Refreshments will be provided courtesy of the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce, Home Builders Association of Lincoln, the REALTORS® Association of Lincoln and FirstChoice Vending.
