The public is invited to an open house Monday, October 9 on street and sidewalk improvements in the Historic Haymarket. The open house is from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at Olsson Associates, 601 "P" Street (second floor). Ten-minute presentations are scheduled for 5 and 5:30 p.m.
The improvements are scheduled to extend from spring to fall in 2018. The project is being funded through several sources, including street construction funds and tax increment financing proceeds from redevelopment projects.
In addition to the two presentations, City representatives and project consultants will be available to answer questions at the open house. Those attending can view displays as well as a calendar of special events that will be considered in the project scheduling.
