Vaccine Information

Safe and effective vaccines play a critical role in maintaining protection against respiratory viruses, preventing severe illness and saving lives.  Vaccine helps our bodies develop immunity against the virus without having to get sick.

  • Flu and updated COVID-19 vaccines for this fall and winter are recommended for everyone age 6 months and older.
  • 2025-2026 COVID-19 vaccine is available for those 6 months and older. According to updated CDC recommendations, vaccination is now based on what’s called “shared clinical decision-making.” Residents should consult with their health care provider or pharmacist prior to receiving COVID-19 vaccine.
  • RSV vaccine is also recommended for adults 75 years and older, adults 60-74 at increased risk of severe illness from RSV, and pregnant people.  There is also an RSV preventative antibody injection for babies and young children.
