6 Pillars for Emotional Wellbeing
6 Pillars for Emotional Wellbeing
The 6 Pillars is a joint initiative by Community Health Improvement Planning (CHIP)
partners seeking to address youth behavioral health concerns in Lincoln and
Lancaster County. First identified in 2023 as a community-wide response to the
growing need for emotional wellbeing and resilience, the project is an evidence based
framework applicable to children, their families, and the broader community.
6 Pillars Videos seek to introduce 3 Key Elements:
The Problem
The Causes
The Skills
The 6 Pillars provide a context for caring adults to have
conversations with the children in their lives and build healthy rhythms and routines shown to
grow
emotional health for kids, parents, and their
families to thrive.
This project was made possible by the Lincoln-
Lancaster County Health Department, Bryan
Health, and CHI Health St. Elizabeth.
