Project Summary

This project will pave South 40th Street from Rokeby Road to Tiger Lily Road to help serve growth in the community by improving safety and capacity of the transportation system. The project includes new pavement with one lane in each direction and a raised center median. A new roundabout will be constructed at Tiger Lily Road. Work also includes new sidewalk with curb ramps to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements and utility work.

Lincoln on the Move funding will be utilized in accordance with ballot language and supported by the Advisory Committee on Transportation (ACT).

Construction began in June 2022 and is anticipated to be complete in 2023.

Access During Construction

South 40th Street will be closed to through traffic during construction. Access to individual properties will be maintained at all times.
