27th and Southeast Upper Salt Creek Bridge Replacement

Project Summary

Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) is proposing replacement of the bridge Structure U142512520 at South 27th Street and Southeast Upper Salt Creek, 0.3 miles south Rokeby Road. This bridge was built in 1936 and is currently weight-limited to 29/37/43 tons per Nebraska State Statute. The bridge currently has a Sufficiency Rating of 34, which indicates it has exceeded its useful lifespan.

Access During Construction

27th Street will be fully closed between Rokeby and Saltillo roads to facilitate construction of this project. Local and emergency access will be maintained at all times for areas within the closure.
