Street Rehabilitation Project

Updated August 14, 2020

The purpose of this project is to preserve the transportation asset, improve the reliability of Lincoln’s transportation system, and ensure the mobility of the traveling public.

Scope of Work

This project will rehabilitate the pavement along 56th Street from Bridle Lane to Thompson Creek Boulevard to improve roadway conditions as necessitated by the current pavement age and condition.

Access During Construction

  • Phase 2 will include the south side of the Cavvy Road intersection extending north to Thompson Creek Boulevard.

Wysong Elementary School is located near the project limits, however no impacts are anticipated.

Schedule

Construction began in August 2020 and is scheduled to be completed in the fall. This project is being coordinated with the adjacent 56th and Yankee Hill Road Intersection Project to minimize impacts to area residents and the traveling public.
