“A” from 6th to 17th - Street Improvement Project

This project will improve “A” Street between South 6th and South 17th streets. This corridor will include two through lanes and one middle turn lane. A traffic signal replacement has been identified at 17th Street. Intersection Improvements have been identified for the 8th Street and 11th Street intersections. A side path has been proposed from 4th Street to 11th Street.

The project is currently in design. Construction is tentatively planned for 2027.

Street and sidewalk closures will be necessary during construction.
