Colonial Hills Neighborhood Street Improvements

Project Summary

This project will improve residential streets in the Colonial Hills Neighborhood:

  • Elkcrest Drive from 56th Street to Elkcrest Circle
  • 57th Street from Elkcrest Drive to Locust Street
  • 58th Street from Elkcrest Drive to Pioneers Boulevard
  • 65th Street from Skylark Lane to Oakridge Drive
  • Oakridge Drive from 65th to 58th streets

Additional work includes upgrades to the existing curb ramps to comply with the Federal Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements.

Schedule

Design is expected to be completed by fall of 2026 and construction is anticipated to take place in 2027.

Access During Construction

Streets will be closed to through traffic during construction. Local access will be maintained to the extent possible.

Sidewalks and curb ramps will have periodic closures during construction. Sidewalk access will be maintained for pedestrians on at least one side of the street.
