Salt Creek Neighborhood Street Improvements

This street improvement project resurfaced the following roadway sections in the Salt Creek Neighborhood:

  • “B” from 1st to 8th streets
  • 8th from “C” to “J” streets
  • 8th from “N” to “O” streets
  • “E” from 8th to 9th streets
  • “F” from 8th to 9th street

Project Location

The pavement condition was improved through a mill and overlay of the existing surface, with selected curb and base repairs required. Additional improvements included pavement and crosswalk markings and updates to the existing curb ramps to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements and Lincoln School Zone Implementation Program. New parking stalls were constructed along the west side of 8th Street between “D” and “F” streets to assist with relieving traffic congestion and increase safety for drivers and pedestrians.

Schedule

Construction took place in 2022.
