Project Summary
This project will repair issues with the W Adams Street bridge that's located over North Park Road and the Union Pacific Railroad tracks west of the NW 12th Street intersection. Repairs will include installing new expansion joints at the ends of the bridge, repairing the median on the bridge, repairing deterioration with the concrete columns under the bridge, and installing new bridge drains underneath the structure.
Schedule
Construction is anticipated to take place in spring 2024.
Access During Construction
There will be times when one lane in each direction on West Adams Street will be closed to allow the project work activities to occur. At times, the Contractor may need to restrict traffic on North Park Road to one lane. Depending on the duration of these impacts, flaggers may be utilized or there may be the need for a temporary traffic signal installed on North Park Road between the entrance to the Nebraska National Guard and Duncan Aviation.
